Week 8 Alena Svoboda “Peremptorily”

 Peremptorily:

(ADV) Insisting immediate attention or obedience, often in a rude manner

Found in the novel, The Great Gatsby, “As I started my motor Daisy peremptorily called ‘Wait!” (Fitzgerald 23).

This word helps with my understand of the book we are reading in class. It is also a great word to add to my vocabulary to enhance my writing.
