 Coalition- noun

-an alliance for combined action, especially a temporary alliance of political parties forming a government or of states.

While talking about the German government and political parties my German teacher was talking about coalitions and how almost every party is part of one in the German parliament. I did not know what a coalition was so it made the whole lesson very confusing, after looking up the definition I was able to better understand the new information I was taught and further my learning.
