Emma LaFond Week 5 "Privy"
Privy - Adj: sharing in the knowledge of (something secret of private)
"The abnormal mind is quick to detect and attach itself to this quality when it appears in a normal person, and so it came about that in college I was unjustly accused of being a politician, because I was privy to the secret griefs of wild, unknown men" - The Great Gatsby
I chose this word for week 5 because we're starting to read The Great Gatsby and this was the first word that I didn't know when I started reading it.
